Preparation:

  1. Pour 400 ml of hot water over rice, add a little salt, put on a small fire, cook until tender, cool.
  2. Add the egg, minced meat, salt and pepper to the rice to taste, knead everything well with your hands.
  3. We clean carrots and three on a grater for Korean carrots.
  4. Cut the onion into cubes.
  5. Put carrots, onions, dill and parsley on the bottom of a deep saucepan or duck.
  6. We disassemble the cabbage into sheets, carefully cut out a thick part from each sheet.
  7. We take a spoonful of minced meat, form a ball and carefully wrap it in a cabbage leaf.

    IMPORTANT! Wrap it up as tightly as in a white cabbage leaf will not work, since the Peking leaves are not so dense.

  8. Formed cabbage rolls are laid out in a prepared pan.
  9. We boil 2 liters of water in a kettle, fill the cabbage rolls with water so that they are completely covered with water. We put on low heat.
  10. Add bay leaves, chopped garlic, salt and peppercorns. The dish should simmer slowly for 25-30 minutes until cooked through.

Stuffed with curd cheese

Ingredients:

  • Half a head of cabbage.
  • Bulgarian pepper - 2 pcs.
  • Curd cheese (feta or feta cheese) - 400 g.
  • Dill, parsley, basil - in a small bunch.
  • Garlic - 3 cloves.

Preparation:

  1. If the cabbage is tough, wrap it in a bag and leave it at room temperature for a day.
  2. Scald the pepper with boiling water or bake it a little in the microwave, remove the peel. We clean from seeds, cut into small squares.
  3. Finely chop the herbs and garlic.
  4. Using a blender, mix everything with curd cheese.
  5. Gently unbend the cabbage leaves like a flower.
  6. We coat all the folded sheets with the filling, starting from the center. We collect the head of cabbage back, wrap it tightly in two layers of cling film, wrap the ends.
  7. We remove the cabbage overnight in the refrigerator. In the morning the cabbage will be ready to eat.
