Question: flowers of the month
I would like to know which is the flower that blooms in January and which in February
thanks
Answer: flowers of the month
Dear Rosanna,
for spontaneous flowering much depends on the place where you live; in the Padana plain in January you will find only a few viburnum, and the chymonanthus praecox, also called calycatnthus, some violet snowdrops, dog teeth and a little more; in the south the first mimosas (acacia dealbata), crocuses, citrus fruits, cyclamens bloom in January; in February the first bulbs begin, especially the crocuses, and in the house also the amaryllis; in areas with mild winters the roses begin to bloom.
