Growing features
The predecessors of tomatoes on the site can be cucumbers, cabbage, onions, legumes. Planting for seedlings begins in late February - early March. The seeds are disinfected. Planting depth - 2 cm, distance between shoots - 2 cm.
The newly planted seedlings must be covered with polyethylene to create the necessary moisture or plant them in special mini-greenhouses. This will speed up and improve seedling. Growth stimulants can be used. After germination, the polyethylene must be removed.
A pick is carried out in the presence of 2 well-developed leaves. For picking, containers made of paper or peat are suitable; when transplanting to a permanent place, it will be possible without injuring the plants to be rearranged into the holes directly with the containers.
When 5 sheets appear and with a size of about 25 cm, it is possible to plant in a greenhouse, in open ground - a week later. In the greenhouse, choose a good spot for this variety given its size. Seedlings should have enough light and air. However, the direct rays of the sun can destroy the plant; partial shade is needed.
The soil for tomatoes should be saturated with air and with an increased level of acidity. Read how to prepare the soil in the greenhouse here. The distance between plants should be about 40 cm... Top dressing with mineral fertilizers several times until the fruit is formed.
You can also use as fertilizers: organic matter, boric acid, iodine, yeast, ammonia and hydrogen peroxide.
Pinching is required every 2 weeks. The garter is needed for brushes with fruits. Vertical or horizontal trellises will do. Standard watering, mulching if necessary. Harvesting from June to September.
