Growing features

Seeds are sown for seedlings in the second half of March and early April. If you plan to plant in a greenhouse, sowing can be done 10-15 days earlier. The soil should be light, consisting of turf, peat and sand. The seeds can be soaked in a growth promoter for 10-12 hours.

For seedlings, you can use containers that are densely filled with soil. Seeds are sown with a depth of 2 cm. The soil is sprayed with warm water, covered with a film. The container is placed in heat until the first entrances appear. The sprouts that have hatched are exposed to bright light, on the sill of the south window or under fluorescent lamps. Moderate watering, once every 5 days, preferably from a shallow watering can. After unfolding 1-2 true leaves, the seedlings are dived and fed with liquid complex fertilizer.

Plants are planted in open ground in late May and early June. A greenhouse transfer can take place in the first half of May. Wood ash or a small amount of superphosphate is laid out in each hole. Low bushes do not require tying and shaping, but it is recommended to remove excess shoots and lower leaves. Tomatoes love moderate watering once every 6 days. During the season, the bushes are fed 4 times with complex mineral fertilizer.

Pests and diseases: control and prevention measures

The hybrid is resistant to major diseases, practically not affected by viruses. However, plants must be protected from fungal infections. Prophylactic spraying of plantings with phytosporin or other non-toxic bio-preparation will help. Young plants can be treated with a pale pink solution of potassium permanganate. The greenhouse or greenhouse needs to be ventilated often, and weeds must be removed in a timely manner. It is recommended to periodically inspect the plantings, looking under the leaves.

This will help detect insect pests. Tomatoes are often affected by aphids, thrips, whitefly, naked slugs. Affected plants are treated with insecticides or celandine decoction.

Tomato variety "Ivanych" F1 is a successful hybrid that has been tested in different regions. Subject to the simplest care requirements, the result is excellent, the tomato pleases with its yield and excellent fruit taste.
