Growing recommendations
Sowing seeds is carried out in early - mid-March. Seeds and soil should be disinfected with a weak solution of potassium permanganate. The soil is chosen with good oxygen permeability, with a low acidity level. Usually they purchase the necessary soil in specialized stores.
Planting is carried out at a depth of 2 cm, in a total container. The distance between the plants should be about 2 cm. After planting, the soil is well watered with warm water and covered with polyethylene or transparent thin glass, the resulting moisture has a beneficial effect on seed germination. The place for germination should be well lit and warm, not lower than 22 degrees. When seedlings appear, the polyethylene must be removed.
A pick is carried out when 2 well-developed sheets appear in separate containers of about 300 ml. It is best to take cups made of paper or peat materials, they decompose faster and it is possible, without injuring the plants, to transplant them directly in containers.
In the middle - end of May, in the absence of severe cold weather, it is possible to transplant to a permanent place in open ground, you can plant it in a greenhouse earlier. Seedlings are planted in separate holes with fertilizer, the distance between plants is about 50 cm. When planting, it is better to use fertilizer containing phosphorus (you can simply add fish heads). Watering is carried out at the root abundantly, not often. Loosening, weeding as needed.
- Organic, mineral, phosphorus, complex and ready-made fertilizers, for seedlings and TOP of the best.
- Yeast, iodine, ammonia, hydrogen peroxide, ash, boric acid.
- What is foliar dressing and when picking, how to carry it out.
Mulching is optional. Top dressing is carried out after the formation of fruits several times with a period of 2 weeks. Stealing is not required. Tying is necessary because of the severity of the many fruits. The best way to tie up is with individual supports. In July, you can harvest.
Diseases and pests
Disinfection of soil and seeds helps with most diseases.... To get rid of other diseases and attacks of pests, spraying with microbiological substances of the general spectrum of action is carried out. From the emergence of tobacco mosaic, the roots are sprinkled with ash. For late blight, spray with a solution of copper sulfate (10 g per bucket of water).
