How to create a beautiful garden
To create a beautiful garden it is necessary to direct your choices on plants of various appearance, both green and flowery, taking care to set up (depending on the available space) shady areas or pergolas, perhaps with straw benches or armchairs and flower beds colored to make the environment usable and pleasant.
It is always essential to consider some preliminary aspects, namely:
- size of the garden
- garden display
- weather conditions
- types of land
- type of lighting
- coexistence between plants.
There are various types of garden, ranging from:
the classic one (characterized by lawns with ordered grassy coverings, with hedges cut according to geometric designs and well-defined ornamental areas)
the rocky one (with stones and rocks included in the landscape scheme, with varieties of plants belonging to rocky species or well adaptable to the environment),
the rustic one (or country, of very natural appearance and not at all artificial, which uses typical species of the country flora, often native),
the Zen or Japanese one (inspired by the oriental culture and traditions, and including its typical 3 elements: plants, water and rocks, which are the allegorical representation of man's journey towards eternity).
Whatever the choice, you can choose different types of plants:
- shrubby plants
- evergreen plants
- climbing plants
- flowering plants
- aquatic plants

The flowering is early, but of short duration: from January to March.
The fruit is a dark legume between 5 and 10 cm long.
It requires a sunny area of the garden and a mild climate as it lives badly when the temperature drops below 15 degrees.
It prefers deep, well-drained soils enriched with peat and humus, possibly with an acid component.
It must be watered regularly only in the early stages of development, then rainwater is enough to irrigate it.
We need to fertilize twice a year using specific fertilizers for flowering plants.
It is a climbing plant, annual, with very ornamental flowers.
It has an erect stem, 50 to 70 cm long, robust and covered with a thick hair.
The leaves are oval in shape with a pointed apex, dark green and covered with a layer of sparse hair.
The hermaphrodite flowers gather in cluster inflorescences, of blue color tending to violet.
The fruits are seeds rich achenes.
Its flowering is very decorative and abundant.
It is also cultivated for medicinal purposes as it provides active ingredients used for the preparation of infusions and decoctions, with multiple properties.
It requires a soft and well-drained soil, fertile due to the addition of organic material.
It must be housed in bright and sunny areas, but, being a rustic variety, it fits well anywhere and in any condition.
It is a herbaceous plant with a hanging, flowering, ornamental habit.
It has a thin, sticky, hanging, light green color.
The leaves are oval, viscous in appearance, covered with a thick hair.

They are very showy, with colors varying between white, pink, red and purple; its flowering is prolonged: it starts in spring to last almost all summer.
It requires a soft, well-drained soil, enriched with organic material, sand and shredded bark; preferably with a non-calcareous component.
It must be exposed in sunny areas, not windy and in a warm climate.
Fears both cold and intense heat.
Water needs to be watered every 2 days, without soaking the soil and fertilizing at least every 15 days using liquid fertilizers.
How to create a beautiful garden: FLOWER OF PASSION
It is a climbing plant, evergreen, flowery, very suitable for covering walls or espaliers in the garden, very decorative.
It has a woody, erect stem, which can rise up to 7 meters.
The leaves are simple or lobed (depending on the variety), of an intense green color.
The flowers have a corolla provided with everted petals that allow the obvious reproductive organs to be seen; they have a bluish violet color, and are extremely decorative, also due to their exotic appearance.
The fruits are oval and elongated berries, very colorful, containing numerous seeds.
It requires a soft and well-drained soil, enriched with peat and sand, never clay.
It must be exposed in areas of the garden that are very bright and sunny as it prefers temperate and mild climates; manages to adapt to the shade but not to cold and drafts.
It is necessary to water it abundantly, at least twice a week, because the plant needs constant humidity, even if it fears water stagnation, which is very harmful to its roots.
It is advisable to fertilize every 15 days with potassium-rich and nitrogen-poor fertilizers.
