Ginger herbal tea

The properties of ginger root help us especially to take care of ours gastrointestinal system, but also to fight cold, but of throat and flu symptoms.

As soon as the water boils, add the slices of ginger and turn off the heat. The mixture must be left to infuse for about ten minutes. Once the infusion is ready, we filter everything and add the juice of a lemon or if we prefer, depending on our taste, a lime.
To sweeten the herbal tea the ideal is to use honey.

Elaborate herbal tea

This second recipe involves the use of other natural ingredients, which are added to ginger. The set of properties of the various ingredients in combination, make it an effective remedy against cold, sore throat and flu symptoms.
Put in a saucepan about half a liter of cold water, peel and grate a piece of ginger root. Fresh ginger can also be found in many supermarkets, not all to be honest, but it is found. Add the grated ginger to the water and put the saucepan on the stove until it boils. Meanwhile finely chop one half chili pepper, the dose also depends on how hot the pepper is.
After the mixture has boiled for about five minutes, add the chilli, together with a pinch of cinnamon and let it boil again for about a minute.
Subsequently it will be necessary to provide for the addition of half a spoon of chili pepper, after having ground it, and a very small quantity of cinnamon powder.
Turn off the heat and add to the mixture two slices of crushed garlic well well.
Meanwhile, squeeze the juice of one or two lemons, until you have about half a glass of juice. Filter the mixture that we have previously boiled over a fire, add it to lemon juice and the herbal tea is ready to be served.
Also for this second recipe, we can sweeten the herbal tea using honey.

The main properties that are recognized to him are theenergizing effect and the ability to fight nausea, however ginger also has many other positive effects on the body.
Since its action is beneficial mainly on thedigestive system, is an ally against dyspepsia and allows to counter all related disorders such as flatulence, bloating and stomach swelling.
Ginger is able to remove the cold from the body through transpiration. When the first symptoms of cold or flu appear, the hot ginger tea helps to clear the stuffy nose and stimulates perspiration, a bit the same kind of effect that aspirin has.
Even in the case of cough due to accumulation of phlegm, ginger can help us alleviate symptoms and accelerate healing, a hot herbal tea upon arrival of the first symptoms and we could avert the worsening of the cough and the arrival of a sore throat.
