SLIMMING TISANES
They are totally natural products, consisting of a balanced set of herbs with medicinal properties, which belong to the category of pesticides.
The dosage of these herbs is considerably concentrated in the extracts, while it is more diluted in preparations for herbal teas and decoctions, to avoid the appearance of side effects.
Herbal teas with slimming action have their effect through various methods:
- through mildly laxative activity
- by diuretic activity
- through depurative activity
The mildly laxative activity is carried out by particularly fiber-rich herbs which on the one hand induce a sense of satiety by decreasing the stimulus of hunger; on the other hand they stimulate intestinal motility by acting on peristalsis and favoring evacuation.
Through these actions, it is evident that the body weight tends to decrease both for a lower caloric intake and for a better evacuation function.
The diuretic activity is manifested by an enhancement of the draining effects by the lymphatic system (first) and the renal system (after): in this way the water retention and the possible formation of edema (swelling) in various districts is eliminated .
The consequence is a decrease in body weight.
The depurative activity consists in eliminating the toxins accumulated in the body and depends on the properties of the vegetables found in the herbal teas.
In this case there is no immediate weight loss, but the effects may be visible over time, after a few cycles of infusion administration.
MECHANISM OF ACTION
The process of weight loss dependent on the intake of slimming teas is due to an enhancement of lipid catabolism.
The adipose deposits accumulated in various districts of the body are burned by the action of the herbs that play a real "thermogenic effect" (production of heat due to the destruction of fats).
These herbs are pesticides with a catabolic action selective towards lipid metabolism.
At the same time there is also a decrease in the stimulus of hunger as the herbs are composed mainly of fibers that induce a noticeable sense of satiety.

METHOD OF PREPARATION

For this reason it has a beneficial digestive action.

It is an indispensable component of diuretic and slimming teas.
Artichoke
It is a very diffused vegetable that is consumed abundantly for its excellent taste.
Its dry extract is one of the most used components in the preparation of herbal teas and decoctions.
It performs a tonic and stimulating action on the liver and detoxifies at the level of various organs.
Contains "cynarin" which acts by modulating bile secretion and regulating digestion.
It also contains a low dosage of "tannin" which acts as a regulator of intestinal function eliminating constipation.

Pilosella
It is a very common vegetable typical of lowland areas.
