At 8.30 pm the usual journey to discover traditional dishes and local wines selected among the winners of the "Rubino Mediceo" wine competition, the pride of the Cerreto area, will begin.
The evening begins with bruschette, symbol of the Tuscan tradition, accompanied with Montalbano's Tuscan IGP white oil and garlic, but also vegetables, spices and legumes including beans, tomatoes, basil and peppers. It will then continue with tomato soup, paired with a young red wine and with ricotta ravioli and spinach garnished with rabbit sauce. The real novelty this year will be the Florentine steak, served with Montalbano Tuscan IGP oil flavored with rosemary and black pepper. Here the pairing will be a more full-bodied red wine. As a side dish a mixture of baked vegetables with aubergines, courgettes, peppers and potatoes. For dessert the English soup with vinsanto.
